KATIE DEAL
Singer-Songwriter / Country Tribute Artist
As a seasoned actress and a member of Actor’s Equity, Katie has transformed her love of theater into a unique platform to honor country music icons through what she calls “true tributes”. These authentic classic country concerts have gained Katie national recognition and some amazing interactions. She was handpicked as the featured entertainer for GPB’s gala honoring Brenda Lee (Fox Theatre, Atlanta) and has performed with Brandon Bush (Train, Sugarland), Kristian Bush (Sugarland), John Driskell Hopkins (Zac Brown Band) and the legendary Ms. Loretta Lynn. Katie and the Real Deal Band have opened shows for John Conlee, Sammy Kershaw, Collin Raye, B.J. Thomas, Bill Anderson, Jeannie Seely, Colt Ford and Marty Stuart. She was named the 2016 Georgia Country Artist of the Year and was honored by the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame. Katie has been featured in two major motion films and has co-written songs with many hit and soon-to-hit Nashville songwriters. Favorite regional theatre credits: A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline (Patsy – two national tours), 9 to 5 (Doralee - Springer Opera House), Dracula: A Rock Opera (Wilhelmina - Greenbrier Valley Theatre), Darlin’ Cory (Truegood - Alliance Theatre), Man of La Mancha (Aldonza - Off Square Theatre), The Road: My Life with John Denver (Singer - Milwaukee Rep), Dames at Sea (Joan – Temple Theatre) and Ring of Fire (June - Barter Theatre). Though a Georgia native, Katie has found her forever home in Virginia Beach with her much better half, Pete, and their furry family: Max, Minnie, Pixie and Sugar.
KURT JOHNSTON

Kurt Johnston is a Philly-born Georgia resident who is a talented recording artist, producer, songwriter and versatile
performer. He has toured internationally, most notably with Bon Jovi. Kurt appeared with Bon Jovi and Sugarland on
CMT'S CROSSROADS and the 2005 CMA AWARDS. You can hear his pedal steel on Bon Jovi's Grammy winning
album LOST HIGHWAY. Kurt has appeared on THE TODAY SHOW, THE ELLEN SHOW, THE VIEW,
MTV/VH1/CMT UNPLUGGED, A&E, CLEAR CHANNEL and SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. Kurt lives in Cleveland, GA with his lovely wife, Suzanne.
NATE SACKS
Singer-Songwriter / Multi-Instrumentalist
Nate Sacks is an energetic and prolific singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. His enthusiasm is contagious and is only matched by his incredible musicality. Nate hails from Norfolk, Virginia, and can be found making people dance with his wild song loops or running his original Live Music Bingo in the Hampton Roads' best music venues all year long. He also fronts several indie bands, including The LifeHacks, The Lazy Dangers and Nomad, and frequents Nashville and Richmond studios to write and record with up-and-coming artists. Just wind this one up and point him toward the stage. You won't regret it!!
